   Hee Hee. I love so much about this one- all the little details. I love: the socks for dripping wax; the books that he is jumping from; the penguin publishing!!!!; that Fred Penner was remembered; the serene look on Elijah’s face; and of course, those leg warmers!!!! If you print this out for him I suggest editing the rhyme to Elijah be nimble, Elijah be quick….. The only thing I don’t love about this scene is that I am afraid poor Eli is going to burn his fingers as he reaches for the flames. Great work Funky Maman:)

   A good friend of mine recently sent me a magazine article about a young mother who took similar photos to yours – she’d wait ’til her baby girl was asleep, then dress and position her within the scene she’d prepared so that she could take a photo… she just signed a two-year book deal:)
