I am 29 1/2
Today I am 29 1/2. On my 29th birthday, I posted a list of 29 things to do before I turn 30. Here is what I have accomplished so far....
Disclaimer: Just because I have crossed something off the list doesn't mean that I will stop doing them!
1. become a guerilla artist - I've done a couple of things. See here and here!
2. visit the library more often. I haven't bought a book in FOREVER. The library is my new best friend.
3. join a book-club. Yay! We meet once a month on Tuesday. Reading new books and meeting new people is cool - although I am still pretty shy.
4. host a murder mystery party. I bought a game - just have to pick a date!
5. start some traditions
6. visit my family. This has been happening quite a bit- and even more now that my sister has moved!
7. make a list of people we give gifts to at christmas. divide them for each month - gather gifts. I didn't do this - BUT I did start a jar called "Christmas fund" and an inspiration book with ideas for homemade Christmas gifts!
8. bake more peanut butter cookies - not specifically PB cookies, but I have baked some scones and fruit crisp and chocolate chip.
9. make fun things like dioramas and artist notebooks
10. make another blurb book - hurray! Happy birthday Andrea!
11. do wii fit regularly
12. write letters to people
13. decorate my walls (perhaps another mural?)
14. go outside
15. eat lots of fresh food
16. buy a patio set
17. plan an amazing math program - I think I am doing a pretty rad job this year!
18. throw a backyard party
19. explore Bruce County
20. collect some pretty outside blankets
21. make more puppets
22. get some new favourite sensible shoes
23. become a better blogger & photographer - i think i'm doing a-ok!
24. love with all of my heart. I'm always trying! I've found new and unusual feelings of love with the new baby on the way!
25. renew my passport
26. discover new favourite bands and musicians - ongoing
27. make my home pretty - a continuous project. Currently working on "baby nook".
28. be a good and generous friend. I don't know of what this is exactly, but I try.
29. PAINT.
